I’ve had a personal profile of Facebook for a while now, but I’ve finally decided to set up a fan page for Ralf the Destroyer. I discovered a couple of RSS plug-ins and added them to both the Profile and Fan pages. If you have a Facebook account I invite you to add the Ralf the Destroyer Fan Page to it, just click on the badge in the left sidebar. Regular updates should occur.

Today I am adding a new category/page to the site called “Sightings”. I’ll be posting a variety of one off images as well as art trades or fan art as they become available. Today I’m posting this photo, it’s something I’ve had stuck in my head. Initially I was going to draw and ink the whole thing by hand (like the comic) but I really liked the reference photos I took and thought it would be cool if I could actually put Ralf “in” the photo. So I converted it to greyscale and noised it up a bit. I liked the way it came out, so I’m sharing it with you. If you would like to send me something to post here just send the image and a note (with “sightings” in the subject bar) to
This is a sketch of a mysterious species called the Tassili. They are not caporial creatures and because of that they are often the substance of many myths, though many choose to ignore the possibility of their existence. But Ralf seems to hold a certain curiosity for one of them.
This is a sketch I did of a species called Noropian Gorts. I was trying to come up with something terrifying but not in the typical way. Most go for scary teeth, but I recalled watching a tv show about “The Night Stalker” and my wife commented on how creepy his hands were because they were so unusually large. This has always stuck with me so all my really creepy characters have giant hands. If you look carefully, you can see this creature also has a second set of hands for more technical work. To get an idea of scale, the ship Ralf is using to destroy Earth was originally a Noropian flagship. Ralf must climb three or four steps to get up to the control panels, the same control panels Gorts use the second set hands at their waist to operate.
