With Lexi, everything is either an earth shattering emergency or an excuse to play dress-up. Lexi definately feels most at home in a crisis situation where she is quick to take command.
Unfortunately in her quiet little town there are few real emergencies, so she has often resorted to creating them.
Now her moment of glory has finally come with an epic threat laid at her feet. But With her history of “crying wolf” she soon realizes that that no one will listen to her. Undaunted, she now realizes that she alone must save the world, even if it means making friends with the enemy.
Ralf has been hired to destroy a distant planet after the Trans-galactic Counsel receives a threatening message of universal conquest from an ancient radio transmission. What they didn’t know when they hired him is that he’s actually a really nice guy and kind of a procrastinator. Ralf, experiencing many setbacks in his personal and professional life, takes them up on their “offer” in hopes of finally finding the prestige and respect that he craves.
When Ralf arrives at his destination (Earth) however, he discovers the wonders of a living planet, its inhabitants and immediately winds up in debt, ignored and develops a crush. Now, Ralf attempts to placate his conscience by reasoning that he could rule the planet rather than destroy it.
Ralf’s interplanetary balancing act oscillates from the thought provoking to the absurd as he hovers over The Button wrestling with his conscience.
I like how Ralf’s antennae are so expressive. He’s clearly concerned in the first panel and curious in the other three. When he figures out what’s going on, they’ll probably be tied in a knot!

LOL! Well put 🙂
