I’m sorry, but the strip seems to be losing its way a bit. I’m not even particularly sure what’s going on here. And what makes me unhappy – as a reader of yours going back to the GoComics Sherpa days – is that I find it difficult to care any longer what’s going on. I wish you could recapture the momentum you had back when Ralph was being chased by the huge insect, for instance.
Part of that momentum was due to an update regiment that kept things moving three times a week. I am trying to get back to that schedule, but as I mentioned in the blog I have a lot on my plate this year. The rhythm of the strip is unchanged if read consecutively, plus never forget that there is always a calm before the storm.
I miss the regular updates too but the art and the story are certainly worth coming back for. I do know from his previous ”What’s up with the Artist “ post the man has to pay the bills.
I just discovered this comic two or three days ago.
Unfortunately if I read the chapters correctly, I will soon run out of story to read.
Though of course it is a lot easier to read a comic than to make one.
Well the site and strip underwent a renovation and the comic was rereleased on social media. The social media posts are still catching up to the site were I am still posting a strip each week on Saturday. The social media posts will catch up next summer (I believe) and the whole thing shall resume. In fact I’ve thumbnailed about thirty comics, picking up where it left off. So please sign up for the “Planetary Alert System” where I’ll make any big announcements.
